How should the Boston Celtics handle a potential Jayson Tatum return? By all accounts, the St. Louis native has been ramping up his process of getting back on the court for Boston as his long rehab from the Achilles tendon injury he suffered vs. the New York Knicks in the 2025 NBA Eastern Conference Semifinals.

And that begs the question of his team plans to reintegrate the Duke alum into a ball club that is currently in the Eastern Conference second place position despite Tatum's injury and the offseason exits of Al Horford, Luke Kornet, Kristaps Porzingis, and Jrue Holiday to trades or free agency. A number of younger players already on the roster or added to the team in that same offseason have been excelling, and upsetting things could actually be a problem for Boston to solve.
