Nebraska football is rising in the recruitment for class of 2027 linebacker Blake Betton. He will be in town for Nebraska’s spring game on March 28, per Rivals.com’s Tim Verghese.

He is a three-star prospect. The recruit is the No. 27 overall linebacker in the 2027 class, and the third overall player from his class in the state of Minnesota, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings.
Betton holds offers from several other Big Ten teams. Penn State,Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Northwestern, and Illinois all have extended offers his way. His primary recruiter for the Huskers is defensive coordinator Rob Aurich.
He had a successful season for Shakopee High School last fall. The linebacker recorded 88 tackles and four interceptions on the year.
Betton would be another strong get for the 2027 recruiting class that ranks seventh overall nationally according to the Rivals Team Rankings.
It will be interesting to see where Nebraska falls in this recruitment. Betton's stock is undoubtedly rising, and he is a talented linebacker. His aggressive play style can fit well in the Huskers' scheme.
