Texas A&M's 2026 cornerback room will now be led by seniors Dezz Ricks, Julio Humphrey, and transfer Rickey Gibson, as senior Will Lee III is headed to the NFL and is one of 13 Aggies participating in the NFL Scouting Combine this week.

On Thursday, defensive tackle Albert Regis and defensive end Cashius Howell improved their draft stock after impressive workouts, while linebacker Taurean York put up an impressive 25 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press. On Friday, tight end Nate Boerkircher and Will Lee took part in the official measurements and drills, and, like Albert Regis, Lee's elite athleticism, length, and speed stood out.
According to the official measurement, Lee's broad jump (11'0") and vertical (42") were tied for second among defensive backs, while his 40-yard dash time (4.52) was more than good enough for an outside cornerback who specializes in man coverage. Overall, when projecting a cornerback's ability to quickly adjust to the NFL's speed, athleticism is everything, and Lee checks nearly every box.
According to R.A.S Football, Will Lee's relative athletic score, barring agility testing and bench press, earned an impressive 9.46 RAS out of a possible 10.00. Lee's elite vertical and broad jump should go a long way towards being selected in the middle rounds of the 2026 NFL Draft.
During his two-year career in College Station, Lee recorded 92 tackles, two interceptions, and 18 pass deflections.
