Iowa women's basketball star eclipsed career milestone vs. Illinois
· Yahoo Sports
Adding to her illustrious Iowa women's basketball career, senior forward Hannah Stuelke eclipsed the 1,500 career point threshold in the Hawkeyes dramatic 82-78 win over Illinois in her final Big Ten regular-season game at Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Feb. 26.
After fotunately avoiding a potentially serious elbow injury early in the first quarter against the Fighting Illini, the 6-foot-2 native of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, scored 18 points on 7-for-13 from the floor and 4-for-6 at the free-throw line, to accompany five rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one block in 31 minutes of play.

According to Iowa Athletics, Stuelke now becomes the 16th all-time Hawkeye to surpass the 1,500 point mark in program history.

In her 131 games played (91 starts), Stuelke now has 1,511 points and 857 rebounds, which makes her the seventh all-time Iowa women's basketball star to collect both at least 1,500 points and 850 rebounds in their career.
Stuelke now joins that elite list of Hawkeye legends to accomplish such a rare feat, including Caitlin Clark, Megan Gustafson, Cindy Haugejorde, Toni Foster, Tangela Smith, and Morgan Johnson.
Stuelke and the rest of the Iowa (23-5, 14-3 Big Ten) program will look to continue its sensational play when it closes the 2025-26 Big Ten regular-season on Sunday, March 1, at rival Wisconsin (13-15, 5-12 Big Ten) from the Kohl Center in Madison, Wisconsin.
The Hawkeyes and Badgers are expected to tip off at 2 p.m. CT, with the game streamed exclusively on B1G+ (subscription required).
