The Denver Broncos have a lot of work to do on the offensive side of the ball this offseason. The focus is on the running back, tight end, and wide receiver rooms.
But the offensive line could change a bit as well. There has been some trade buzz around Ben Powers, meaning the left guard spot could open up this offseason.
However, according to NFL Network's Tom Pelissero, the Broncos might've already filled this hole with a smart two-year contract for a veteran offensive lineman who started 10 games last season.
Broncos agree to two-year deal with Alex Palczewski
"The Broncos have agreed to terms on a two-year contract with OL Alex Palczewski, per source," Pelissero reports.
Palczewski is a veteran offensive lineman who started 10 games last year in place of Powers for Denver. He also made three starts at right tackle in 2024.
The 26-year-old undrafted free agent has been a solid pickup for the Broncos. He's only been in the NFL for two years and made 13 total starts, but overall, he's been a solid player.
And in 2026, Palczewski might end up being the full-time starter at left guard if the Broncos end up trading away Powers this offseason.

Across his 13 starts the last two seasons, Palczewski has only made two total penalties, with one holding each of the last two seasons.
He played 665 snaps in 2025, more than enough for Sean Payton and George Paton to get a good look at him to determine if he's a worthwhile starter or not.
This two-year deal is an interesting one, and could lead to a Powers trade down the road. But, even if he's strictly depth, Palczewski is a great piece for the Broncos to bring back.
