Watch a LIV Golf pro completely whiff a one-inch (!) putt
· Yahoo Sports
If there was ever a doubt that golf can be one of the strangest sports around, look no farther than what happened to Sebastian Munoz on Thursday.
The LIV and PGA Tour winner like his fellow tour pros routinely smash golf balls 300-plus yards through the air and stripe irons with laser-like precision. Yet, he's still capable of missing a one-inch putt. That's right, one inch.

The unfortunate occurrence happened during Day 1 of the LIV Hong Kong event. Munoz left his birdie effort on the edge, walked up to tap in for par and managed to completely whiff. He then tapped in for one of the most disappointing—and bizarre—bogeys of the year. Have a look:
Ouch. Of course, in your normal game, someone would have said, "Don't worry, that was good." But professional golf is not your normal game.
And these guys are not normal players. Despite the blunder, Munoz still shot five under par and is tied for 10th after the first round, five shots behind Carlos Ortiz. But it's hard to imagine he won't be thinking about that little miss—and its potential big financial repercussions—when he goes to sleep tonight.
