The Blues travel to north Wales on Saturday to take on the Championship highfliers in the FA Cup fifth round, with a place in the quarter finals up for grabs.

Chelsea haven’t won any domestic silverware since 2018, and the FA Cup represents their best chance of silverware this season.

Jesse Derry and Ryan Kavuma-McQueen will travel to Wrexham

Speaking ahead of the game Rosenior confirmed he will make use of the squad, and we will likely see a number of changes from Wednesday night’s win against Aston Villa.

Rosenior has confirmed Romeo Lavia will feature, but the game has come too soon for Estevao who misses out again through injury.

However, Rosenior has revealed academy stars Derry and Kavuma-McQueen will both travel and be part of the squad.

“Ryan and Jesse will travel with the group. So they’ll be part of the squad for Wrexham,” he said as quoted by The Sun.

“I’m very fortunate to have Callum McFarlane on our staff, who came from the academy.

“I want to develop players within this academy, so they’ll be travelling with us.

“Jesse’s really impressed me. Not just those two, but there have been a few that I’ve got to see in training that we brought up, who I’m really, really happy with.”

Chance for young Chelsea stars to shine?

Derry made his debut in the previous round against Hull and put in a positive performance, whilst Kavuma-McQueen is still waiting for his first team debut,

Kavuma-McQueen signed his first professional contract at the start of the year, and is regarded as one of the best talents in the academy.
