NFL Insider Updates Raiders’ Maxx Crosby Trade Price After Failed Physical
· Yahoo Sports
The Las Vegas Raiders thought they had a trade completed. It was already tough enough, parting with arguably their best player by trading Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens. Of course, getting two first-round picks (including No. 14 overall) made the deal easier to swallow.

Yet, now that the Ravens have gotten cold feet and backed out of the deal after Crosby failed his physical, the Raiders are left in a tough spot. Everyone now knows they tried to trade Crosby. Not only that, Crosby’s value is arguably lower after flunking his medical test.
Yet, according to The Athletic‘s NFL insider Dianna Russini, the Raiders aren’t backing down from their original asking price. They still want two first-round picks to trade Crosby.
Meanwhile, many were skeptical of Crosby fetching two first-round picks in the first place. After the failed physical, their chances of doing so seem even slimmer.
After all, free agency has been underway for three days. Teams have already adjusted their budgets after chasing after top talent. Some teams that may have been targeting a Crosby trade have also already made other plans, like the Cowboys trading for Rashan Gary, giving the Raiders fewer options to negotiate with.
Still, if Las Vegas is dead set on trading Crosby, they shouldn’t have any trouble getting at least a first-round pick in return. Whether they can get more remains to be seen.
