Roland Garros, also known as the French Open, decided to implement its version using the 2000s as its timeline.

Rafael Nadal, in his prime, was the focal point as he won Roland Garros 15 times in an 18 year time span between 2005 and 2022.

An impressive Nadal compilation

The Nadal montage was captioned: “Try not to cry remembering Rafael Nadal’s prime.” Of course, tennis fans from all over the world shed a tear seeing this.

The video is not long enough to show all of Nadal’s Roland Garros wins, but it takes fans through his years long journey beginning as a teenage champion with the long hair and shorts.

Watching it makes fans miss the Nadal magic they were accustomed to each year at Roland Garros even more.

Nadal’s legacy

In addition to his Roland Garros dominance, Rafael Nadal’s legacy will be felt for years in the future as he continues to train and educate aspiring players at his academy with Alex Eala being the most high profile pupil to date.

He also wears his heart on his sleeve for Spanish tennis. Nadal recently defended Carlos Alcaraz after his loss at the Miami Open saying he cannot win them all.
