Caleb Williams responds to Skip Bayless’ anti-Iceman stance
· Yahoo Sports
Professional troll Skip Bayless weighed in on the debate regarding Bears quarterback Caleb Williams’ attempted trademark of the “Iceman” nickname on Friday, and it appears the young quarterback has something to say back.
“I’m a Caleb Williams fan,” Bayless tweeted. “But I was a much bigger Iceman Gervin fan, and I’m offended Caleb and Co. are trying to steal George’s all-time great nickname.

The “Iceman” nickname had also been used for former San Antonio Spurs star George Gervin, who played 14 seasons of professional basketball and made nine All-Star appearances throughout the 1970s and 1980s. However, Gervin did not have the nickname trademarked, sparking controversy when Williams attempted to do so for his own branding.
Williams responded to Bayless, who has made more money than any of us ever will by providing little of substance to the sports media landscape. Needless to say, Chicago’s quarterback did not approve of Bayless’ choice of words to describe the situation.
Idc about where your fandom stands.

I was trying give you and everyone else the benefit of the doubt. About knowing business and being smart about it. But I guess not. Foolish of me!
Also words matter Skip Bayless.

Bayless would then go on to tweet a 20-minute video in response to Williams’ response to his tweet. As of this writing, the post has more comments than likes. I would watch the video to tell you what he said, but I would rather stick my face into a deep fryer.
