In a series of Instagram Stories, Natasha Joubert opened up about her birthing experience with her baby girl. She also shed light on her new postpartum life.
Alongside a pic of her cradling her newborn, she posted: “Next level tired. Healing is taking a lot longer than I expected. Almost 3rd degree tear and torn to all three sides”.
Natasha revealed that her daughter was cluster feeding, whereby a newborn or young baby breastfeeds often in a short spate of time.
She continued in another slide: “I haven’t slept decently in 2-3 days. Up every hour, if not more during the night”.
Natasha – who has been open about her mental health journey- added: “It’s hard to ask for help. I really struggle”.
Natasha Joubert and her husband Enrico Vermaak welcomed their daughter on 11 March. The former beauty queen gave birth naturally at 41 weeks pregnant.
The couple have yet to reveal their baby’s name.
