EASTER FRIDAY FORECAST: Here’s what the weather has in store

KWAZULU-NATAL

If you’ll be spending your long weekend in KwaZulu-Natal, you can expect morning fog over the interior. The rest of the day will be fine and warm. Partly cloudy conditions are also expected in the afternoon with isolated showers and rain in the north-east.

The wind along the coast will be light easterly north of Cape St. Lucia in the morning, otherwise moderate to fresh north-easterly, becoming strong in the afternoon in the south. The expected UVB sunburn index is low.

DURBAN

A cool and breezy day is expected for Durban. If you are visiting the coast, it is a good time to plan a beach day as partly cloudy conditions are on the cards. A low of 22°C and a high of 27°C are on the cards.

FREE STATE

Easter Friday will be pleasant in the Free State, partly cloudy and warm conditions are on the cards for the province.

BLOEMFONTEIN

Bloemfontein will be partly cloudy. You can expect a cool 15°C and a warm 29°C for the day.

NORTH WEST

Things are clearing up for the North West after a few days of showers, you can expect partly cloudy and warm conditions in the province.

MAHIKENG

Mahikeng will be partly cloudy, with a minimum of 17°C and a maximum of 28°C expected.
