Key FSU edge target commits to Big Ten program
· Yahoo Sports
The Florida State Seminoles were hoping to add a second blue-chip edge rusher to their recruiting class on Friday, but were unable to get it done. Four-star target Rashad Streets has committed to the Oregon Ducks over FSU, announcing the news on the Pat McAfee Show.
Streets is from Raleigh, North Carolina, and was also considering the NC State Wolfpack, Alabama Crimson Tide, Ohio State Buckeyes, and South Carolina Gamecocks. FSU extended Streets a scholarship offer back on Jan. 8, 2025, and has hosted him on three visits since then.

He is ranked as the No. 61 overall player and No. 7 edge in the 247Sports composite. he is also the No. 4 player from North Carolina.
Streets has credited his relationship with edge coach Nick Williams and defensive line coach Terrance Knighton for his interest in the Seminoles, and they will now face the tough task of trying to flip him from one of the best programs in the country. He has not scheduled any official visits, but had mentioned previously that FSU was likely to get one when he does, but it is unclear if he will still visit other programs.
He has had an excellent career at Millbrook High School. Over the past two seasons, he has recorded 226 tackles, 75.0 tackles for loss, 41.5 sacks, 74 quarterback hurries, seven forced fumbles, and six blocked punts.
While missing out on Streets stings, the Seminoles have several other great options at edge, and already have four-star Anthony Cavallaro committed. They are among the top contenders for Frederick Ards, Jabarrius Garror, and Desmond Malpress, who are all top 25 edge prospects in the country.
