The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed the veteran receiver on Tuesday, the team announced. Sills (6-3, 211 pounds) played for the Atlanta Falcons last fall, totaling six catches for 78 yards in a 29-28 win over the Bucs in December.
Before his stint in Atlanta, Sills played for the Denver Broncos from 2023-2024. He joined the club's practice squad ahead of coach Sean Payton's first season in Denver, and he remained on the practice squad for two years. Sills appeared in three games with the Broncos, playing 16 snaps on offense.
Sills did not total any receptions in Denver, but he has hauled in 31 receptions for 314 yards and two touchdowns in 33 career games with three teams. He had a career year with the Falcons last fall, totaling 18 receptions for 191 yards and his first two career scores.
Sills started his NFL career as an undrafted free agent out of West Virginia with the Buffalo Bills in 2019. After being cut by Buffalo, Sills spent four years with the New York Giants before his stint with the Broncos.
