With the 2025-26 NBA regular season over, the NBA Play-In Tournament begins to see which teams will take the last four spots (the 7-seed and 8-seed east and west, respectively) in the NBA Playoffs. Once in the playoffs, 16 teams (8 in the east and 8 in the west), in total, compete for the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy during the NBA Finals in June.

Teams looking to get into the post-season are the Miami Heat, Charlotte Hornets, Philadelphia 76ers and Orlando Magic in the east, and Portland Trail Blazers, Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors and L.A. Clippers in the west.

The NBA Play-In Tournament starts on Tuesday, Apr. 17 and ends on Friday, April 17.

How to Watch the 2026 NBA Play-In Tournament on TV

NBA coverage of the play-in tournament livestreams on Prime Video. The first game features the Miami Heat vs. Charlotte Hornets with tipoff at 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT, while the second game has the Portland Trail Blazers vs. Phoenix Suns at 10 p.m ET/7 p.m. PT.
