Wisconsin football starting quarterback Colton Joseph was ranked No. 33 on CBS Sports' latest list of Power Four starters entering the 2026 season.

The new Badger was No. 33 of the No. 68 signal-callers. He was also the No. 10-ranked quarterback in the Big Ten, behind Oregon's Dante Moore (No. 1), Ohio State's Julian Sayin (No. 2), USC's Jayden Maiava (No. 9), Indiana's Josh Hoover (No. 10), Washington's Demond Williams (No. 18), Penn State's Rocco Becht (No. 21), Michigan's Bryce Underwood (No. 23), Illinois' Katin Houser (No. 26) and Maryland's Malik Washington (No. 27).
Joseph joins the Badgers after a standout 2025 campaign at Old Dominion. The dual-threat quarterback tallied 2,624 passing yards, 21 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, as well as 1,007 rushing yards and 13 rushing scores.
CBS' Brad Crawford was clear in Wisconsin's expectations of Joseph and, more importantly, how critical his play is to Luke Fickell's future with the program.
"Luke Fickell hopes his new-look quarterback room results in immediate Big Ten improvement," Crawford wrote. "If it doesn't, Fickell is out."
