Over a glorious 24-hour stretch from Sunday afternoon through Monday afternoon, Boston sports fans are going to be in heaven.
Sunday has a full slate of sports for Boston fans, starting with Game 1 of the Boston Celtics' first-round playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers at TD Garden. That game tips off at 1 p.m. ET.
After the Celtics finish up, the Boston Red Sox will take on the Detroit Tigers at Fenway Park. There's a great pitching matchup with Red Sox ace Garrett Crochet squaring off against All-Star lefty Framber Valdez.
That game starts at 4:35 p.m. ET, barring any weather delays, giving fans enough time to scurry from TD Garden to Fenway if they have tickets to both games.
