Eric Musselman, USC men's basketball land UConn big man Eric Reibe

· Yahoo Sports

It has been a great offseason so far for USC in all sports. The top players in the country have chosen USC over other prestigious sports programs. Eric Musselman and the USC Trojans men's basketball team continue to put the work in with recruiting. The Trojans are bringing in yet another transfer, and this time USC snagged a UConn Husky and a former McDonald's All-American. Eric Reibe is a 7-1 freshman who will join the Trojans and add much needed size.

In 46 games last season he averaged 12.3 minutes per game, 5.3 points per game, and shot 30.8% from 3. The Huskies had more of an experienced roster and Reibe had to sit behind starting center Tarris Reed Jr. who had one of the more dominating tournament games in recent memory.

Reibe will be getting his fair share of minutes at USC, with a great chance to start. He will come into USC with great experience and be a player who comes from a winning culture. Although he is a freshman, he can still bring a part of UConn's winning mindset.

USC will have no issues this season at guard with a transfer in KJ Lewis and the return of guard Rodney Rice, both can score and facilitate. Their issue was solely on the frontcourt, and even more now with the loss of big man Erza Ausar to the NBA draft. Adding Reibe could not have came at a better time, and the Trojans roster is shaping up to be a talented group.
