VIT signs MoU with Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited (TMPV). This strategic collaboration is designed to foster continuing education. The MoU was signed by our Registrar Dr. T. Jayabarathi and Sitaram Kandi, Chief Human Resources Officer, TATA Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. and exchanged at their premises in Pune on 16th April, 2026. Through this MoU, VIT will offer B.Tech(Manufacturing Engineering) for the TMPV employees of Tata Motors, Ranipet plant from the upcoming academic year 2026-27.

The MoU exchange was formalised by VIT’s Honourable Chancellor Dr. G. Viswanathan and Mr.Sitaram Kandi, Chief Human Resources Officer, Tata Motors.
