The Miami Dolphins entered the first round of the 2026 NFL draft with a pair of picks at Nos. 11 and 30. However, after trading down from No. 11 to No. 12 to select offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor, they traded up from No. 30 to No. 27 for cornerback Chris Johnson.

Johnson addresses a huge need for the Dolphins, as he can play both boundary or slot cornerback in the NFL. Despite that, some fans of the team were upset with the pick and shared their displeasure on social media.
