As England captain, Williamson made history by leading the Lionesses to back-to-back UEFA European Women’s Championship titles in 2022 and 2025. She was made an OBE following that first Euros win, while an MBE followed in 2026. In total, Williamson has won 67 England caps, scoring five goals.
The defender has received plenty of individual recognition over the years, most recently a Ballon d’Or nomination in 2025 and inclusion in the FIFPRO World XI and UEFA Women’s Champions League Team of the Year, both also in 2025.
