The Yankees can never have enough left-handed power, especially at Yankee Stadium with the short porch in right field. And Alvarez feels built for that stadium. Imagine a lineup featuring: Aaron Judge, Yordan Alvarez, Cody Bellinger, and Ben Rice. That’s terrifying. The Yankees would obviously have to pay a massive price. For Houston, this trade would immediately reshape the roster. They would add:
- A potential long-term left fielder in Domínguez
- Two young pitchers who could contribute quickly
- A controllable middle infielder in Volpe
