Was Trevor Lawrence's haircut real? Jaguars QB reveals the answer
· Yahoo Sports
If you were hoping that Trevor Lawrence got a real haircut to promote the Jacksonville Jaguars' 2026 schedule release, I have bad news for you.
Visit tr-sport.bond for more information.
After you all wondered if it was real or fake, the answer came from Lawrence in a video follow-up from the Jags: Yep, it was fake, as we may have known all along thanks to a clue from his wife, Marissa.
Turns out the hair that was cut was snipped from a wig that he got put on him before the video. So, yes, there was "hair" the was cut. It just wasn't his own hair.
Alas. It would have been way cooler for him to get a real haircut and start off the 2026 season right. But that hair is his thing, you know? Of course he wasn't REALLY going to cut it.
No need to wig out!

Oh well. I thought the haircut -- or whatever you want to call it, the wig? -- looked great on him!

Honestly, I'm a little disappointed. I was kinda hoping he actually did cut his hair. Just for the memes.

Honestly, great job by the Jags' social team. You can't buy this kind of publicity and viral content!
