The Boston Red Sox traded away Kyle Harrison as part of the deal to acquire Caleb Durbin this offseason, and he is thriving with the Milwaukee Brewers.

Harrison is not only pitching better than he ever has, but he is currently one of the best arms in the National League. On Wednesday, he made his ninth start of the season. He went seven innings, which tied a career high, and notched 11 strikeouts against the Chicago Cubs. His ERA is now 1.77 on the season. He has 59 strikeouts as well.
Harrison is the Brewers' No. 2 starter and is making a strong case to be considered an All-Star. If he continues at this rate, he will surely be in consideration for a Cy Young Award. His strikeouts per nine innings sit at 11.9, and he is starting to hit his stride. He has a 0.96 ERA in his last five starts and has recorded 41 of his 59 strikeouts.
Harrison is not a household name like Paul Skenes, but his numbers are those of an elite pitcher. Harrison came over to the Red Sox in the Rafael Devers trade, but his time with the team was short-lived.
Harrison had a 3.00 ERA in three games, two of which were starts, for the Red Sox, and a 3.75 ERA in 12 starts with Triple-A Worcester. He has turned into the best version of himself with the Brewers. He is 1 1/3 innings short of being a qualified pitcher, but he figures to hit that mark in his next start, and then his name will be atop most leaderboards.
He would have the fourth-best ERA in baseball among starters if he were qualified right now.
