Jun. 6—The NBAPA Top 100 camp revised its selection process a year ago to ensure the players who were chosen to participate were truly among the best. Selection is not limited to a single shoe brand circuit, and potential participants are ranked and evaluated.

Quinton Kitt made the cut this year. The future Illinois forward was officially announced as a camp participant Friday following a standout junior season at East Peoria (his last with the Raiders before finishing at a prep school next year) and a strong start this spring to his final run on Nike's EYBL circuit with Meanstreets.

Several other Illinois recruiting targets will also compete at the camp. That group includes Class of 2027 prospects Nasir Anderson, NaVorro Bowman Jr., Cayden Daughtry, Jaxson Davis, DeMarcus Henry, Moussa Kamissoko, Caleb Ourigou and Lewis Uvwo in addition to 2028 in-state star Cole Kelly.

The NBPA Top 100 camp began in 1994. Since its start it has seen more than 300 players transition from camp participant to careers in the NBA.

"Top 100 is about professional development and opening doors beyond the court," NBPA Executive Director Andre Iguodala is quoted as saying on the camp's website. "Basketball can give its players access to worlds they otherwise wouldn't have. We're trying to give the next generation the tools to realize those opportunities. This experience is something these guys will remember in 20 years, so we expect them to be all in and make the most of it."
