EXCLUSIVE: First Look at Hot Wheels Superstar Speeders Inspired by Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Toy Story 5

· IGN

IGN can exclusively reveal Hot Wheels Superstar Speeders, a new die-cast collection in the beloved Mattel line that features Toy Story 5's Buzz Lightyear, Spider-Man: Brand New Day's Spidey and Savage Hulk, the Mandalorian and Grogu, Batman, Mickey Mouse, SpongeBob, and more.

These 1:64th scale vehicles feature authentic character design paired with "bold Hot Wheels styling built for speed and action." The cars start at just $3.99, and there will be a variety of tracksets that can expand the adventure. The collection will start arriving in stores this spring and summer.

We can also reveal a closer look at two of these sets: Hot Wheels Superstar Speeders Hi-Tech Buzz Lightyear Launcher and Hot Wheels Superstar Speeders Spider-Man & Hulk Smash Down.

The Buzz set, which will cost $21.59, is inspired by Toy Story 5's new line of Hi-Tech Buzz Lightyears. This trackset encourages racers to take the large-scale vehicle into "any challenge" with the included die-cast Superstar Speeders Hi-Tech Buzz Lightyear. Racers can also connect the Hot Wheels Speed Snap Track to the front of the launcher to send him on other tracks.

The Spidey set, which is inspired by Spider-Man: Brand New Day, sees Spider-Man and Savage Hulk battle villains in the streets of New York. This trackset includes a 12" Web Loop and Hulk smash "win moment," which occurs when Spidey conquers the loops and knocks down all the villains. Hulk will then "heroically" jump and smash to deliver the moment.

However, if Spider-Man fails to knock down all the villains, he is defeated and captured, and you'll have to try again!

This set will cost $29.99 and includes a Spider-Man-themed Slam Launcher to start the battle as well as a Hot Wheels Superstar Speeders Spider-Man.
