Monarch Academy announced its opening on Thursday, June 11 and is sponsored by Jordan Brand. The school will play in the Nike EYBL Scholastic League, offering a state-of-the-art basketball facility and online learning.
After giving it a lot of thought, Kitt said he will be transferring to Monarch Academy to "begin a new chapter."
"While I’m excited for what’s ahead, East Peoria will always be home. The lessons, relationships, and memories i’ve made here will stay with me forever," the post reads.
"Thank you for believing in me and supporting me every step of the way. I’ll always be proud to call East Peoria home."
