Real Madrid midfielder Nico Paz will finally stay at Como for another season, according to a report from Onda Cero’s Alberto Pereiro. The Argentinian player told Madrid that he’d like to stay there one more year and Los Blancos have decided to keep him with the Italian club after consulting coach José Mourinho, per that same report.
Paz knew that it was going to be very hard for him to get consistent, relevant minutes for Madrid next year. He would’ve been behind several players in the rotation and his profile as an attacking midfielder has some overlap with players like Jude Bellingham or Arda Güler being crucial pieces for Los Blancos already.

Nico Paz will get another opportunity to keep improving and developing as a player in the Serie A. Meanwhile, Madrid will have an option to bring Nico Paz back to the Spanish capital for €10 million in the summer of 2027.
