Freshly installed as AC Milan’s manager, Ruben Amorim has wasted no time in settling into his new role at the Lombardy-based club. Nor has he delayed in setting out his requirements for his future squad. And one of the players who could well become one of its headline signings is none other than Paris Saint-Germain’s Gonçalo Ramos (24).
On the hunt for a Champions League-calibre striker, a competition Milan will not be competing in next season, the former Manchester United manager is reportedly considering his Portuguese compatriot as the ideal signing for his side, according to reports in La Gazzetta dello Sport. Under contract with PSG until 2028, the Olhão-born player is reportedly valued at around €40 million by the French club.

A sum deemed too high by the Milan management, who would prefer to negotiate a loan deal with a mandatory buy-out clause for 2027. With limited playing time under Luis Enrique’s side, Ramos could thus take advantage of this opportunity to establish himself as a first-team regular at a prestigious club, having started just 15 times in his 45 appearances (12 goals, two assists) during the 2025-26 season.
