Kyle Kuzma defends Kyle Kuzma after being included as 'Giannis tax' in trade report

It's probably jarring to be a professional athlete and see trade rumors and reports involving yourself floating around social media. Especially when said athlete is not the main subject of the rumors, but merely an add-on to make the money or some other part of the deal work. Their livelihood suddenly becomes everyone else's source of entertainment.
That's what happened to Milwaukee Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma on Monday when Bill Simmons dropped this nugget on The Bill Simmons Podcast while discussing Giannis Antetokounmpo trade rumors: "I think Kuzma is the Giannis tax for this trade for whoever gets him."

This may not have been news to Kuzma, who potentially teased his inclusion in a deal. However, he made clear in response to a tweet that he didn't see himself as merely a "throw-in."
Since when is a 6’9 wing who plays any role you ask, guards 1–5, shot almost 50% from the field and cares about defense a ‘throw‑in’? lol https://t.co/11Jd5D54Vu

It's a fair question by Kuzma, though his inability to lift losing teams the last five years can probably go a long way towards helping him find an answer. Maybe, like Antetokounmpo, a change of scenery is just what he needs to change the narrative.
