8. Isaac Paredes, Houston Astros
Paredes has the makings of a top MLB third baseman, but he’s been inconsistent and streaky. However, he’s having a strong season and is on pace to reach career highs in home runs and RBI. Houston needs more consistency as the team competes for the AL West crown.
9. Matt Chapman, San Francisco Giants
Chapman is one of the league’s streakiest hitters. He will go on a tear one week and fall off the face of the Earth for the next month. Entering the week, he is among San Francisco’s leaders in RBI.
10. Alec Bohm, Philadelphia Phillies
Bohm has been digging himself out of an early-season slump. In March and April, the third baseman had one home run and 13 RBI. Alec Bohm can reach double-digit home runs and 30 RBI in May and June with a strong finish to the month.
