Florida State three-star LB shuts his recruitment down
· Yahoo Sports
Florida State has not only had a huge month in recruiting with eight commitments in the 2027 cycle, but players are also shutting their recruitments down. The latest happened on Saturday.
Three-star linebacker Olrick Johnson III, who committed to FSU on June 11, announced on his Instagram that he has shut down his recruitment. With four-star Jernard Albright and three-star CJ Ohuabunwa doing the same earlier this week, the Seminoles have gotten all three of their linebackers in the 2027 class to end their recruitment.

Johnson is the nation's No. 1,202 player in the country and the No. 107 linebacker per the 247Sports composite rankings. He's also the No. 135 prospect in the state of Georgia.
It's been a shut down party as of late for Florida State. Three-star safety Jemari Foreman got things started last Sunday when he wrapped his recruitment up. Four-star wide receiver Sean Green and three-star quarterback Logan Flaherty also shut down this week. Also, depsite doing so at the end of May, four-star edge Anthony Cavallaro reaffirmed that he shut down this week as well.
It's a very encouraging sign with the current state of FSU's program that they've gotten so many players to buy in and stay in Tallahassee.
