WEATHER: Evening showers and strong winds to hit parts of KZN

Here is what the weather has in store for KZN, Free State and North West on Monday 29 June.

KWAZULU-NATAL

Fine and cool to warm conditions will prevail before clouds increase during the afternoon.

Isolated showers and rain are expected in the evening along the coast, adjacent interior and south-western parts of the province.

Light north-westerly winds south of Mtunzini and moderate northerly to north-easterly winds in the north will shift to moderate to fresh south-westerlies in the afternoon, becoming strong at times in southern coastal areas before reaching Kosi Bay by evening.

DURBAN

Fine weather will give way to partly cloudy to cloudy conditions in the afternoon, with isolated showers and rain expected in the evening.

Light north-westerly winds will strengthen to fresh to strong south-westerlies around midday.

Temperatures will range from 14°C to 26°C. The UVB sunburn index is Very High.

FREE STATE

Partly cloudy conditions will prevail as cold to cool weather sets in across the province.

BLOEMFONTEIN

Partly cloudy conditions will prevail, with temperatures ranging from a minimum of 6°C to a maximum of 19°C.

NORTH WEST

Partly cloudy conditions will affect eastern areas, while the rest of the province will remain fine and cool.

MAHIKENG

Fine weather will prevail, with temperatures ranging from a minimum of 8°C to a maximum of 22°C.
