Vegas Little League president accused of spending league money on strip clubs and erectile dysfunction meds

A Las Vegas Little League organization has been rocked by a scandal over alleged misuse of the league's funds. The former board president has been accused of blowing league money on items like strip clubs and erectile dysfunction medication.
Those may sound like essential items to some, but you can't lift tens of thousands from a Little League bank account in order to pay for them, as well as other personal purchases.

That's what Las Vegas Justice Court Records accuse Steve Rodriguez Prado of doing, reports 8 News Now. The former board president of Central Little League was arrested on charges related to the case on July 2.

The outlet reports that he was charged with one count of theft, two counts of forgery, and one count of a convicted person failing to register with local law enforcement within 48 hours.
The arrest report alleges that Prado spent close to $65,000 on casinos on the Las Vegas Strip, air travel, strip clubs, ride-shares, video games, car insurance and those previously mentioned erectile dysfunction meds.
According to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department, the former president made more than 75 Zelle transfers to a business his wife owned which totaled almost $64,000.

Detectives claim they got their hands on a $1,351 strip club receipt that showed a $433 tip after a couple of alleged alcohol purchases. They also claimed that they could account for $294 worth of Blue Chew, an erectile dysfunction medication, and almost $2,000 on casino trips.
Robert Fleming, the District 2 Administrator for Nevada Little League, which covers parts of the Las Vegas valley, has some thoughts on the situation. He also has an out-of-the-box idea for the appropriate punishment, assuming the former president is guilty of what he's been charged with, of course.
"We were just devastated by the news that the league had had this money embezzled," he told 8 News Now.
"It’s a shame that the penalty can’t be like when they used to stone criminals with rocks and stuff like that. That they just can’t have the kids line up and throw baseballs at him."
Nobody will go for it, but you have to respect where he's coming from. He's trying to send a message to those who have been trusted not to spend the Little League funds on strip clubs and boner pills.
The Central Little League was reportedly left with just $25 in its bank account and almost had to suspend the rest of the season. But the season was saved, and avoided a sad and slightly funny ending, by the donations of several organizations, including the Athletics.
