With the Las Vegas NBA Summer League action underway, how did the quartet of former Iowa basketball stars perform on Friday night?
Bennett Stirtz, Payton Sandfort and Josh Dix are all part of the Oklahoma City Thunder's Summer League roster, while Brendan Hausen plays for the Memphis Grizzlies.

Stirtz, Sandfort, Dix and the Thunder opened their Las Vegas NBA Summer League slate with a 96-84 loss against the Los Angeles Lakers. Meanwhile, Hausen and the Grizzlies won a narrow 97-96 matchup over the Chicago Bulls.

Stirtz was the top scorer for the Thunder on Friday night, posting 18 points on 7 of 14 shooting, including 3 of 8 from 3-point range. Along with his scoring production, Stirtz added two assists, one steal, and one block in 28 minutes.

After a rough performance in the Thunder's final Salt Lake City Summer League game on Tuesday, Sandfort responded with a solid outing, contributing 10 points on 4 of 9 shooting and 2 of 5 from deep. Sandfort also added seven rebounds in 19 minutes.

Following a 16-point outing on Tuesday night, Dix finished with eight points on another decent shooting night, going 3 of 6 from the floor and 2 of 5 from long range.
In addition to his scoring, Dix added two assists and one steal in 24 minutes of play.
Brendan Hausen
Did Not Play
After a stellar 21-point performance on Tuesday night, Hausen did not see any game action on Friday during Memphis' 97-96 win over Chicago.
The Thunder will play next on Sunday, July 12, at 5 p.m. CT against the Golden State Warriors on Amazon Prime Video. Meanwhile, the Grizzlies will play on Monday, July 13, at 6 p.m. CT against the Dallas Mavericks on ESPN.
