Fresh off winning the 2026 NCAA baseballMen's College World Series, shortstop Jaxon Willits is projected to be the first OU baseball player selected in this year's draft.

In last year's draft, a pair of Oklahoma high school baseball prodigies — Fort Cobb-Broxton's Eli Willits (No. 1, Nationals) and Stillwater's Ethan Holliday (No. 4, Rockies) — were selected in the top 10, while OU ace Kyson Witherspoon went 15th to the Red Sox.
