AAA: Sugar Land Space Cowboys (44-47) won 7-4 (BOX SCORE)

Sugar Land got on the board early scoring 4 runs in the first inning on a Loperfido 2 run double, Whitcomb RBI double and Salazar RBI single. Wesneski got the start and pitched well allowing 1 run over 4.2 innings while striking out 7 batters. Sugar Land got 3 more runs in the 7th inning on a Brooks RBI single and Salazar 2 run single. Pecko allowed 3 runs in relief but held on as Sugar Land won 7-4.

Note: Ferreras is hitting.367 in Triple-A.

AA: Corpus Christi Hooks (39-46) won 11-8 (BOX SCORE)

The Hooks got on the board in the first inning scoring a run on a Schiavone RBI single. They got 2 more runs in the second inning on a Whitaker RBI double and Brown RBI single. Dombroski got the start and allowed 3 runs over 3.1 innings. In the 5th, Sisneros connected on a 2 run home run. The Hooks got another run in the 7th on a Sisneros groundout. Guedez struggled in relief allowing 3 runs as Frisco tied it. Frisco took the lead in the 9th but the Hooks rallied in the bottom of the 9th on a Sisneros RBI double and Whitaker walk-off grand slam!

Note: Bush has a .845 OPS this season.

A+: Asheville Tourists (30-55won 4-2 (BOX SCORE)

Asheville got on the board in the 2nd inning on a Garcia RBI single. In the third, the offense got 2 runs on back to back home runs from Powell and Call. DeVos got the start and was solid allowing 1 run over 5 innings while striking out 6 batters. The offense got another run in the 8th on a Moss RBI single. The pen was solid allowing 1 run as they closed out the 4-2 win.

Note: Powell is hitting .291 this season.
