Brewers prospect Jesús Made drives in NL's only run in Futures Game

Milwaukee Brewers No. 1 prospect Jesús Made left a mark on the MLB All-Star Futures Game in Philadelphia on July 12, driving in the lone run for the National League in the 6-1 loss to the AL.

Made singled in his first at-bat against Mariners pitching prospect Kade Anderson, a blooper in the first that counted as his team's first hit of the game. Made, regarded as the No. 1 prospect in baseball by several publications, is No. 1 in MLB Pipeline's top 100, and Anderson is No. 5 (and the top pitching prospect).

Made grounded out in the third to drive in a run and tie the score at 1-1.

The switch-hitting shortstop also made a play in the field and flied out in his last at-bat in the fifth. The 19-year-old at Class AA Biloxi has a .789 OPS this season with nine homers and 26 stolen bases.

Made likewise went 1 for 3 in the 2025 Futures Game, with a run scored.

Milwaukee's No. 2 prospect, Luis Peña, started at third base and played the whole game for the National League. He went 0 for 3, flying out to left and then to center twice. He also made a play in the field, caught two pop-outs and tagged out a runner trying to steal.

The 19-year-old has an .833 OPS this season at Class High A Wisconsin.

Gavin Kilen, a Giants prospect who attended Milton High School, went 0 for 1 and played second base for the National League.
