‘Extremely Good Starting Quarterback’ — Jordan Love Gets Ranked Ahead of Caleb Williams, Dak Prescott on PFN’s Top 100
· Yahoo Sports
Just how good is Jordan Love? The truth is, not even the Green Bay Packers may know what their franchise quarterback is fully capable of quite yet.
He’s been starting for just three seasons. Each year, he’s arguably gotten better than the last time he took the field. He led the Packers to improved records in his first two years as a starter (9–8, then 11–6) before the team slipped to 9–7–1 in 2025.

In other words, the 27-year-old quarterback could still have more room for growth. Yet, the QB he is right now is already “extremely good.” But where does the Packers QB land in Pro Football Network’s list of top 100 players?
Jordan Love Leaps Ahead of Caleb Williams and Dak Prescott
Quarterbacks are always the most debated and scrutinized position when it comes to player rankings. So, naturally, Packers fans are curious to learn how their franchise quarterback compares to other team leaders too.
This year, Love comes in ranked 34th. PFN views Love as the NFL’s eighth-best quarterback, just behind San Francisco’s Brock Purdy (32nd). Pittsburgh’s cornerback Joey Porter Jr. came in 33rd. Meanwhile, Denver’s offensive guard Quinn Meinerz ranked just behind Love, at No. 35.
As for the analysis? Love is coming off his best Impact Score yet, and his EPA per dropback ranked second-best last season.

“Say what you will about Jordan Love; the numbers indicate that he’s an extremely good starting quarterback. In his third year starting for the Packers, he ended with a career-high 85.1 QB Impact Score, placing fourth among all NFL quarterbacks. Most notably, his 0.26 EPA per dropback was the second-highest in the league in 2025.”
The scary part is that Love is still improving as a QB. For example, last year he had the lowest interception rate of his NFL career as a starter.
“Love’s 1.4% interception rate last year was the lowest he’s had as a starter thus far, and his 101.2 passer rating was also his highest in that role for Green Bay. He comes in as our eighth-best quarterback in this year’s PFN NFL Top 100, which feels like a reasonable ranking for him: just outside of the league’s elite, but still incredibly good.”

Coming in ranked eighth, that places the Packers QB ahead of the likes of Dak Prescott, who ranks 39th on the list. The same Prescott who earned a Pro Bowl nod after throwing for 4,552 yards, 30 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions last season.
Yet, one could argue that Love didn’t have nearly as much to work with as the Cowboys’ QB, who had both CeeDee Lamb plus George Pickens, a Pro Bowl pairing.
The Packers’ receiving corps pales in comparison to what Prescott was working with. Yet, the hope is that Green Bay’s young receivers continue to improve. Eventually, a No. 1 option will emerge, and it might just come in the form of tight end Tucker Kraft’s return from last season’s ACL tear.
Either way, there’s no reason to believe Love can’t finish higher on this list next season, but getting more production from his supporting cast would certainly help.
