No one was injured in the incident, but the damage to the scoreboard and some fencing is estimated to be $10,000 to repair, according to the little league. They say that the damage is not covered by their insurance.

"Westwood Little League is a volunteer-run organization serving more than 500 local children each year," the league said in a Facebook post. "Registration fees, sponsorships, and fundraisers help provide a safe, affordable place for kids to learn the game, build friendships, and create lifelong memories. An unexpected loss of this size places a significant burden on our league."

The league shared a link to their fundraiser, which you can find here, and said that all donations will go directly toward the needed repairs.
