Biggest Dolphins fantasy bargain, bust, and wild card based on ADP

Prior to the release of ADPs four months ago, I discussed the Dolphins’ biggest fantasy bargain, bust, and wild card. Where do things stand as we approach the first preseason games?
De’Von Achane’s slight frame and increasingly heavy workload are a rough combination. During the offseason, I walked through why Miami would be making a mistake if they didn’t trade him for solid value. Regardless, Achane’s brilliant play cannot ignore the fact that this franchise is going nowhere in 2026, and now that they’re fully invested in Achane for several more years, the door is open for his backup to make fantasy noise.

That’s why I have Achane as the most likely bust at his RB10 ADP, and also why I view Jaylen Wright (RB72) as the team’s biggest bargain. A 2024 fourth-round pick, Wright took a step forward in 2025, including improving his rushing efficiency and doubling his broken-tackle rate. While 2025 sixth-round rookie Ollie Gordon looms, Wright is better positioned to take the 1A role if Achane is forced to sit (a higher probability than the fantasy market realizes).
Then there’s Malik Willis, who looked fantastic late last season in Green Bay, but is now on a team with a markedly weaker receiving corps. Willis’s career 13.9% sack rate—one of the worst I’ve ever seen—is a major yellow flag. His rushing prowess is a green flag. What do you get when you mix yellow and green? No idea, and that sums up why Willis is a true wild card.
