The 11-minute show featured Shakira, Madonna, BTS, Justin Bieber, and Burna Boy. According to Fox Sports the performance was “curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay, featured a cameo from Brazil icons Ronaldo Nazário and Ronaldinho before conductor Gustavo Dudamel led musicians from the New York Philharmonic and the Simon Bolivar Symphony Orchestra of Venezuela.” The Muppets also made an appearance.
When asked what he thought of the performances, Rooney answered in his best Manchester accent, “I like a lot of them acts, but I thought it was crap.”
“I tell you what else you get at the BBC — honest reviews!” quipped Gabby Logan.
“I think it was Bieber that brought you down, wasn’t it?” Logan joked. “I think Bieber was a bit slow for you.”

Even though there were just 11 minutes of music, the lengthy set up and tear down caused half-time to stretch out to nearly 30 minutes.
FIFA had reportedly assured both teams ahead of the match that the half-time show would last just 20 minutes total.
“However, the delay to the World Cup final was actually much longer, which meant FIFA went even further in breaking their own rules,” reportedThe Independent.
“In the laws of the game, governed by IFAB (the International Football Association Board), it states half-time breaks should ‘not exceed 15 minutes’,” the report said. “There were over 27 minutes between referee Slavko Vincic’s whistle at the end of the first half and the start of the second.”
Sunday’s match had plenty of star power beyond the halftime soon. Tom Cruisegave a dramatic speech before kick-off, and celebrities like Tom Brady, Kevin Hart, Timothée Chalamet were also spotted at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
President Donald Trump was there with First Lady Melania Trump as well — and appeared to get booed pretty badly when the crowd caught a glimpse of him.
