No Jaguars in top 10 positional rankings by execs, coaches, scouts

In a series of articles posted to ESPN.com, national reporter Jeremy Fowler unveiled his seventh-annual list of top-10 NFL positional rankings sourced from an anonymous survey of league executives, coaches, and scouts.
The “anonymous” tag may or may not be bogus, and the “national” aspect can create some bias against small-market teams like your Jacksonville Jaguars. That said, the Jags failed to see one of their players make the top-10 list.

DE Josh Hines-Allen, CB Travis Hunter, S Antonio Johnson, QB Trevor Lawrence, LB Foye Oluokun, TE Brenton Strange, WR Brian Thomas Jr., and DE Travon Walker all received votes.
An NFC scout said of Hines-Allen, “Not elite but consistently very good, with a quality power-rush game.”
A veteran AFC offensive coach said of Lawrence, “He has controlled his turnovers and just has a better understanding of what defenses are trying to do against him. … He plays better ball when the offensive infrastructure and personnel around him set him up for success instead of asking him to do everything on your own. Liam [Coen] did a nice job in Year 1 of giving him the answers to the test pre-snap.”
