Packers signing DL Devonte Wyatt to 3-year, $57M contract extension

The offseason of contract extensions continues on in Green Bay. On Monday, the Packers agreed to a three-year, $57 million extension with defensive tackle Devonte Wyatt, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Wyatt, a 2022 first-round pick who was entering the final year of his deal, received a $20 million signing bonus.

The three-year extension keeps Wyatt under contract in Green Bay through the 2029 season. Now committed financially long-term, the Packers will expect Wyatt to help anchor the middle of defensive front and provide elite pass-rushing production from the interior in 2026 and beyond.
Wyatt joins receivers Jayden Reed and Christian Watson and linebacker Isaiah McDuffie as players receiving extensions from the Packers this offseason. Tight end Tucker Kraft, who is also entering a contract year, could be next.
Wyatt, the 28th overall pick in the 2022 draft, produced 16.0 sacks, 110 total pressures (per PFF), 30 quarterback hits and 21 tackles for loss over 57 games during his first four NFL seasons.
Wyatt's 2025 season ended late in a Thanksgiving Day win over the Detroit Lions due to a significant lower leg injury. He did not participate during the offseason workout program but is expected to be ready for the start of training camp later this month.
Wyatt, 28, has created at least 4.0 sacks and 20 pressures during each of the last three seasons. He produced a career-high 48 pressures during his second NFL season in 2023, but injuries limited him to 366 snaps in 2024 and 379 snaps in 2025. At PFF, Wyatt has finished with a pass-rushing grade of at least 70.0 during all four of his NFL seasons.
