New Serie A join Juventus in race to sign Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee

Juventus have been chasing a deal to sign Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee.

But they face competition from Como who have also joined the race for the 25-year-old, per Fabrizio Romano.
Como aim to bolster their frontline ahead of the new season and have identified Zirkzee as an ideal option.
The Dutchman previously impressed with his performances in Serie A during his spell at Bologna between 2022 and 2024.
He recorded 14 goals and nine assists in 58 appearances for the Red and Blues.
However, Zirkzee has failed to replicate that form since making the switch to United in 2024. He has bagged nine goals and four assists in 75 games for the Premier League club.
The centre-forward has started both pre-season games for the Red Devils, but the club are open to selling him in this transfer window.
Juventus are looking to sign a replacement for Dusan Vlahovic, and they have expressed an interest in Zirkzee.
The 25-year-old is also prepared to join the Old Lady, but the Italians prefer a loan move and United want a permanent transfer.
If Zirkzee ends up leaving this summer, Michael Carrick’s side will likely enter the transfer market for a new striker.
Benjamin Sesko enjoyed an impressive debut season at Old Trafford and he will remain the club’s first-choice striker.
But if Zirkzee leaves, United will need to add another quality forward who can help share the burden of the number nine role.
