Kentucky WBB gets two unofficial visits from four-star players

Since taking over as the head coach of Kentucky women's basketball, Kenny Brooks has impressed Big Blue Nation with his ability to draw top recruits to Lexington. This season, he has three elite recruits set to debut as Wildcats, and he's looking to the future for more.
Phoenix Stevens of Kentucky Sports Radio is reporting that the Wildcats recently got visits from a couple of the top 2028 recruits. Jhaliana Guy and Reece Gilpatrick were both in town on unofficial visits.

Gilpatrick is a 6'4" power forward out of Colorado. She is rated four stars by On3, and ranks as their No. 13 overall player in the class. Kentucky joins a long list of teams that have offered her, including Louisville, North Carolina, and several SEC teams.
Guy is a 5'9" point guard out of Iowa. She is also rated four stars by On3, and ranks as the No. 16 overall player in the 2028 class. Stanford has an offer out to her, but there will certainly be plenty more to come.
Both players are talented, and offers from Kentucky could go out to them. Brooks has proven himself to be a very good evaluator of talent and recruiter, and though the 2028 class is still a few years out, it's important to make connections. That's something else Brooks is great at, and we'll see if it pays off with Gilpatrick and Guy.
