Bradley Grobler reunites with Gavin Hunt at Stellenbosch FC

Veteran striker Bradley Grobler has reunited with coach Gavin Hunt at Stellenbosch FC after joining the club as a free agent.
Grobler was on the books of Sekhukhune United last season, and while he did his best, the club released him at the end of the campaign.

He was then linked with a possible move to Stellies for weeks after leaving Sekhukhune United but the striker took his time to decide.
Now, according to SABC Sport, the 38-year-old marksman has agreed a one-year with the Winelands-based outfit.
Grobler worked with Hunt for years at SuperSport United, and the pair will get to work together again, this time at Stellies.

“SABC Sport can confirm that veteran striker Bradley Grobler is set to sign for Stellenbosch FC today after agreeing to join the Cape Winelands club on a free transfer,” reads part of the report.
Grobler is expected to sign a one-year contract, reuniting with coach Gavin Hunt, who previously worked with the prolific forward at SuperSport United.

GROBLER SETS SIGHT ON PETER SHALULILE’S PSL RECORD
Grobler will now have an opportunity to break Peter Shalulile’s PSL record for most goals scored by a player in the league’s history.
Shalulile, who has since left the PSL for Tanzanian giants Yanga SC, scored 134 goals during his time in South Africa.
Grobler is sitting on 128 goals, meaning he’s a goal away from equaling Siyabonga Nomvethe’s tally and six from breaking Shalulile’s record.
And given his background, the former Bafana Bafana international could easily score seven goals this season and set a new PSL record.
