Five-star Easton Royal schedules two more visits to LSU football

Five-star wide receiver Easton Royal is slated to visit LSU twice this fall. Royal, the top-ranked recruit in Louisiana and one of the top pass catchers in the country, will be in Baton Rouge on Sept. 5 and Nov. 14. LSU hosts Clemson on Sept. 5 and Texas on Royal's second visit.

Royal is committed to Texas, but LSU hasn't let up. Lane Kiffin has made Royal a priority since arriving in Baton Rouge. Since Kiffin was hired as LSU's head coach, the Tigers' staff has made multiple trips to see Royal and Royal has made multiple trips to LSU.

In recent weeks, reports have stated Royal was trending towards flipping to LSU. On3's Sam Spiegelman recently placed a prediction in LSU's favor.

Per Rivals Industry Rankings, Royal is the No. 5 ranked player in the country. LSU doesn't like to let prospects of this caliber leave the state, but its tough to flip five-stars from Texas. With Kiffin, LSU has the resources and money to do it.
