Mair has recently overseen Wales' most successful Commonwealth Games in artistic gymnastics, with historic medal-winning performances at Glasgow 2026.
Ruby Evans took gold in the women's floor event, while identical twins Abigail - in the women's vault - and Emily Roper in the women's in the uneven bars won bronze medals - contributing to Wales' overall haul of 31 medals.
"I'm incredibly excited about what lies ahead and honoured to have the opportunity to lead a sport I genuinely love and care deeply about," Mair told Welsh Gymnastics.
"Over the past 14 years, I've seen first-hand what makes our community so special: our clubs, our people, our values, and our commitment to making a positive difference in people's lives.
"It's a privilege to lead the next chapter, and I can't wait to see what we achieve together."
