Here's what's next for the Vermont Lake Monsters in the Futures League playoffs

The red-hot Vermont Lake Monsters are playoff-bound for a sixth straight summer.
The top-seeded Lake Monsters (42-15-1), winners of 22 of their last 25 games, open a best-of-three semifinal series in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League postseason tournament against the No. 4 Worcester Bravehearts (29-29). Game time is 6:35 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10, at Centennial Field.

The other semifinal matchup features No. 2 New Britain Bees (38-20) and the No. 3 Norwich Sea Unicorns (29-28).
The Lake Monsters, who went 26-5-1 at Centennial Field this summer, hit a Futures League-best .284 and scored the most runs in the league with 392. Bryan Richman led the way, batting .333 and topping the league in hits and runs scored. Vermont also finished the regular season with a total attendance of 85,989, averaging 2,775 per game.
Vermont won the Futures League playoffs in 2021, its first year in the summer league, and was a tournament finalist in 2022 and 2023. Last summer, Vermont lost in three games in its semifinal series against New Britain.
